New York’s premier educational trade show, NYControlled, returned this year with a strong focus on innovation in lighting controls technology. Organized by the Illuminating Engineering Society’s New York City Section (IESNYC) and the Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY), the event gathered over 700 professionals from across the lighting, architecture, engineering, and design sectors. Attendees came together to explore a single question: What’s next for lighting controls technology?

Enlighted was thrilled to exhibit at this year’s event, showcasing how lighting controls are contributing to smarter, more efficient buildings. Our team introduced the new line of Enlighted Control Switches, which blends advanced functionality with user-friendly features designed for modern spaces. By reducing maintenance needs and expanding control options, these switches align with the growing demand for adaptable, low-maintenance solutions in smart buildings.

As a leading voice in lighting and IoT solutions, Enlighted’s CEO, Stefan Schwab, sat down with EdisonReport’s Randy Reid during the event to discuss the evolution of lighting technology. In his interview, Schwab highlighted how data-driven insights from IoT-enabled lighting are empowering companies to achieve sustainability targets and increase operational efficiency.
